Integrative Relational Psychotherapy, Clinical Supervision & Coaching
Psychotherapy, Supervision & Coaching Online and in Cardiff

finding your path towards hope, healing and growth

Welcome!

Whether you’ve found your way here via a directory listing, a personal or professional referral, or through serendipity, welcome!

There are myriad reasons why you might be considering therapy right now (see my ‘Psychotherapy’ page). Are you holding it together on the outside but inside feel like you’re hanging on by your fingertips? The cost to us can be dear: unsatisfying relationships with others, underachieving in our creativity or career, and fearing that the worst things we say to ourselves are true. Sooner or later, we realise that we can’t – or simply don’t want – to go on like this.

I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and clinical supervisor providing psychotherapy for adults and supervision to other professionals. I work with clients throughout the UK and internationally primarily via secure online sessions.

I offer relational psychotherapy for people seeking thoughtful, in-depth psychological work. This approach recognises that many emotional and psychological difficulties develop within relationships, especially our formative relationships early in life, and can be understood and worked through in the context of a therapeutic relationship. We work together towards awareness, understanding, and change: discovering what’s right for you in alignment with your core values.

Who I Work Best With

I work particularly well with clients who are thoughtful, reflective, and interested in understanding themselves more deeply.

This includes people who may be experiencing:

  • Anxiety, depression, or emotional distress

  • Persistent self-criticism or shame

  • Relationship or attachment difficulties

  • Developmental or relational trauma

  • Emotional disconnection or difficulty understanding their feelings

  • Identity or sense-of-self difficulties

  • Neurodivergence, including ADHD or autism

  • Persistent patterns not resolved through previous therapy

I also work with therapists and other professionals seeking psychotherapy.

Fees

My standard psychotherapy fee is £100 for each 50-minute session. I have concessionary places at reduced rates; I invite you to discuss this at our initial meeting. While these places are taken at the moment, I operate a waitlist. If you prefer not to wait or we decide we’re not the best fit, I have a wide network of excellent colleagues to whom I should be happy to refer you.

For clinical supervision and coaching fees, please refer to my respective Supervision and Coaching pages.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Psychotherapy appointments are usually held weekly or fortnightly at the same time on a recurring basis. Coaching may be scheduled more flexibly. I operate a 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. There is no charge for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel at short notice and wish to reschedule, I shall make every effort to fit you in (without a cancellation fee) during the same week. However, if rescheduling is not possible, with less than 48 hours notice, half the full fee will be due.

First Steps

If you would like a preliminary chat (20 minutes free of charge) to help you decide whether to book an initial session, just let me know. If you prefer to make an initial booking straight away, that’s fine too. All initial meetings are online, regardless of whether we proceed to further sessions online, in-person or outdoors.

The initial psychotherapy session, like subsequent ones, costs £100 and lasts for 50 minutes.

Just click the button below and leave your contact details. I’ll aim to respond to you within 24 hours on weekdays, so if you don’t hear from me, check your Spam folder!
